Earth Day at the Wharf

So sad to see trash like this so close to the ocean where the wind will just blow it in. I picked this up of course after taking the photo and put it in the near by garbage can. There was a lot of trash that looked like birds had been pecking at it. So sad that so many animals get sick from trying to eat garbage that they think is food. I've known this for ages, but it has such a different impact when you actually SEE it. The whole wharf just felt dirty. It's so sad that humas make such a mess of things.
