On Monday we went to visit Robert at his home away from home. Kelli started a garden and was harvesting her tomato plants. She gave us some and this was my first creation with them - homemade sloppy joes. That's a recipe I've been using from the Anabel Karmel First Meals cookbook but this time instead of canned diced tomatoes, we used fresh home grown peeled tomatoes from Kelli's garden. My next attempt will be spaghetti sauce... stay tuned...
