Today was a really exciting and fun day. I have a first cousin who has been off getting super educated and smart for a really long time. Then he got this really neat job in Brazil as a US diplomat. That's pretty exciting stuff. So needless to say we haven't seen him much and we haven't even met his two kids! The last time I saw him at my wedding in 2004, his wife was pregnant with their first child. And today we got to meet her and her younger brother. We spent the afternoon swimming and having a great time. The other cool thing is that the kids are going to school in Brazil and learning Portugese. This is great because with Joseph learning Spanish, they can hopefully see more of each other in the future and compare languages!
