This was our first time to Santa Maria Speedway and it was a learning experience, for sure!! The speedway has a beautiful setting. The parking is probably the best situation out of the four speedways I've been to, but the bleacher style seating is not easy on your back. If you ever go to this speedway, take lawn chairs and rent a spot on the terrace. Much nicer!! I love the view of the sun baked California hills as the backdrop. Robert finished 7th and is still leading the points in Watsonville. Let's hope it stays that way!!
